Q: How do I know if my account is low?
A: You can check your balance yourself alternatively we can inform you if your balance is low.
To check you balance you have 2 options.
1) Call from a registered number +49 (0)69 945 1966 711. Your current balance will be read out to you (currently only in German).
2) Log into your customer area at Kisstel to check your balance.
You have 2 options to receive balance information automatically if your balance is low.
1) You can define a minimum amount for e-mail notification.
2) You can define a minimum amount for voice notification. In this case your balance will be read out to you before you make a call (currently only in German).
Q: What happens when I have no credit balance left in my account?
A: When your account is empty you will not be able to make any calls. In the event that your account becomes empty during a call, the call will be disconnected after a short period. For this reason it is important to always have sufficient funds in your account.
Q: Is there a call charge announcement?
A: Yes, the call charge will be read out before making a call. If you don't need this you can disable the function in your customer area at Kisstel.
Q: Is there an itemized bill?
A: Yes, you can see your itemized bill in the customer area.
F: How can I change a registered mobile telephone number?
Q: In your customer area at Kisstel you can maintain up to 10 numbers. If you need more please send your request together with your customer number, by E-mail to support(at)kisstel(dot)de and we will make the changes for you.

Q: How can I register an additional mobile telephone number?

Q: I don't remember my password. How do I get it again?
A: Click on the Customer-Login button top left corner on our web page. Click on "New Password". Enter your customer number or a registered phone number and your registered e-mail address and click "Email password". We will send your password to your e-mail address stored in your Kisstel customer details.
Q: When is it advantageous to use "Callthrough" and when to use "Callback"?
A: The price difference between Callthrough and Callback for a German handy for example is 6,8 eurocents/minute (incl. VAT). With Callthrough you pay the cost to our landline service number. If you pay more than 6,8 eurocents/minute with your mobile phone in the German network, then Callback is cheaper. You will find more details on our Call Charges page.
Q: Are there service numbers available outside Germany?
A: These numbers are landline numbers in the respective country. You have to pay the charges for the connection from your phone to these numbers. We recommend you are using a local mobile or landline to call these numbers. If you are using your German mobile you most likely have to pay high roaming charges.
These numbers are only available for Callthrough. Unfortunately it is not possible to use speed dial together with this number. But when you hear the dial tone you can enter the 2 digit speed dial code followed by # and you will be connected.
Kisstel Service Numbers.
Q: Are fees charged only when a connection is made?
A: Kisstel charges you only if a connection was made. If you use the Callback service your mobile service provider should not charge you unless you are outside your own country (roaming). If you use Callthrough your mobile service provider may charge you for the call even if you do not get through to the person you are calling. A 'flat rate' or 'inclusive minutes' contract with your mobile service provider is a good idea if you use Callthrough.
Q: What are the requirements to use Kisstel?
A: • You are registered at Kisstel.
• Your mobile phone number is registered at Kisstel.
• You have activated you telephone number transmission.
• You have deactivated the call forwarding for your mobile phone. Only necessary for Callback.
• Your Kisstel account has a credit balance in it.
